Hello dears and lovelies! My name is Naomi, I'm in my first year studying illustration and animation at Coventry University and my passion is animation. I love it more than food. My pencil feels like an extension of my brain, all that stuff.
I'm a Christian and I love Jesus but I try my hardest not to be a dick about it.
The Keane has influenced me more than any other artist I've ever known and will ever know, but other artists I greatly respect/admire are Al Hirschfeld, Ken Duncan, Jin Kim, De'Von Stubblefield, Chris Sanders, Bernini, Jean Gillmore, Chuck Jones, Egon Schiele, Caravaggio and Fred Moore.

From the journal I kept while developing Rapunzel for Tangled: trying to get inside the head of the 18 yr old girl who’d lived her whole childhood locked inside a tower.
What does Rapunzel feel about being an adult? What does being an adult represent? Does this mean leaving behind the childhood stories (monsters outside the tower etc…) she’s believed her whole life?
What does being an adult woman mean to Rapunzel?

Joe Rinaldi’s storyboards compared to final stills of Lady and the Tramp.
His work has so much life, and they ended up being a great inspiration for the finished film. Even Frank Thomas said once that Joe had a lot to do with what was great about Lady & the Tramp.
